In 1998, After ten years of dancing, eight years of leading and directing on youth camps and 4 years of teaching, Jake had a vision to combine his skills, experience and passion to use dance as a practical means to bring people closer together.

Through his passion and experience in wanting to assist youth to have a positive and excited attitude to life, Jake came to realise that in order to help the youth, he had to catch the parents today, as they form and develop their intimate relationships. It is during this time of courtship that intimate relationships develop their habits of communication, respect, roles and boundaries to which the couple will continue to live throughout their lives as partners, husband and wife, parents and grandparents. These habits will be the example the parents set for their children in how to interact with others.

Time 2 Dance was originally created to assist couples to have a practical way of reminding themselves during the tough times, and the fun times, of the basics of their relationship... being together.

Over the past seven years since the original vision for Time 2 Dance, Jake has taken this core value and developed it to teach the basics of relationship and team skills in the workplace, with social groups, and a special adaptation for youth groups. As each area has its own unique level of relationship interaction, so too has Jake developed programs and purpose for each area.

Teaching dance with Corporate groups is not as commonly known as studio classes, but Jake has taught and performed for organisations such as The Bethesda Hospital, VicRoads, The Cancer Council, American Women's Association, and The Salvation Army Ringwood.

Jake has been working with couples and bridal couples for over ten years and teaches Swing/ Jitterbug, Latin American, Street Latin and Ballroom.

Included in Jake's dancing experience, he has taught and performed at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, danced as a feature dancer for Disney Productions/HBO in 'Child Star' A Shirley Temple Story, and as a feature dancer for Melbourne hip hop legends 'Diafrix' video clip.
